I sometimes hear conventional church people say that consensus governance is impossible. I know by experience that it is not only possible, but wonderfully beneficial. Our house church makes decisions by consensus, and it has been a blessing for us. In this podcast I discuss why it works in the organic setting and some of the benefits we've experienced.

About Chad
Chad Irving
After working vocationally as a pastor for about 8 years, my wife and I left the conventional church to start a house church. I now earn a living working for Charles Schwab in Phoenix. I also do some work with a nonprofit called Organic Church Resource. Our goal is to be a resource to people interested in pursuing organic church. Hopefully this podcast serves that purpose. I've been married since 1997 and I have a daughter who is 3 1/2 and son who is 1.
